Our office does not file insurance claims on behalf of patients and are an out-of-network provider. For medical providers, insurance reimbursement for services rendered can be cumbersome with too many glitches and delays in payments. We will provide a Billing Encounter Form with dates, codes for your visit, upon request. Patients may file their own claim by simply completing a claim form and submitting to their insurance company. Based on your deductible, reimbursement covers most of the visit cost; and since you don’t pay applicable co-pay, most clients feel they are reimbursed nearly the full amount of the visit. Reimbursement seems to be a quicker process for patients than providers. Please note: Insurance reimbursement is not available for form fees or phone consults.
For patients who value the integrative and specialized care that we provide, I encourage you to experience the difference. Since you are the customer of your insurance company, they more readily pay their clients. Self-Schedule appointments here.
All patients need a back-up provider for support outside of my services or for insurance-based services. Consults in Wellness will not provide all primary care services for patients. We cannot manage all insurance authorizations, prior authorizations, specialized form completion and other administrative tasks without a fee-for- service.
